Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the strategy and maintenance of client social media
channels. The person will continuously review the processes, content quality, and campaign
performance to optimize for the business needs. This role demands research and application of latest
trends, best practices, social insights and toolsets as part of the social media strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Own day-to-day management of all social media, including planning, creating, posting, scheduling, moderating, analyzing and reporting across the platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc).
- Build and oversee social media content calendar
- Plan campaigns to support the client marketing objectives in collaboration with production teams
- Drive awareness and amplify exposure on social media through organic and paid marketing
- Develop a deep understanding of the social media audience and collaborate with client & internal
teams to continually improve engagement while maintaining the brand voice
- Act as community manager by promoting positive brand engagement and moderating user generated
content
- Work with internal and external teams to identify opportunities to evolve the social media strategy –
including social exclusive product offerings, live event coverage, and social-first campaign launches
- Define measurable goals and set benchmarks; deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance
reports
Necessary Skills & Requirements:
- 2+ year relevant experience in digital marketing, social media or public relations
- Demonstrable experience directly overseeing social media accounts
- Customer service oriented with an understanding of online reputation management
- Communications experience at large organization or agency
- PR or product marketing is plus
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g Hootsuite) is plus
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Excellent communication skills

- Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
